Washington Irving’s Grave

I paid a visit to the beautiful, peaceful Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, New York, over this past weekend. Below is a photo of Washington Irving’s well-tended grave site, where he rests among his family, and a quote from his famous work.

wondered at, that so tempting a morsel soon found favor in his eyes;
more especially
after he had visited her in her paternal mansion.
