Mazes of Power by Juliette Wade

Richly detailed and fast-paced. I could have used more background on the alien planet and how the humans came to occupy the underground cave system, but maybe that’s coming in another book. The prose is interesting, a bit stilted and awkward in a way that actually reflects a society with different moral standards. Worthwhile!
